When one is watching The Beverly Hillbillies, one should imagine that Milburn and Margaret Drysdale, Jane Hathaway, and all the other moneyed Los Angelinos reek of feces and urine, whereas the Clampett family smells quite nice, like a blossoming meadow, perhaps.
It really adds something to the experience.
